Ingrid Bengtson, AIA

Ingrid is a licensed architect with experience in institutional, civic, commercial, residential, and speculative design. Her recent clients include Action Inc., Autodesk, Harvard Business School, the City of Boston, and the Park School (Brookline). She thrives at building long-term relationships with clients, starting with master planning studies and continuing with architecture and design projects to bring those macro-scale visions to fruition. Prior to NDP, Ingrid was an Associate at Utile in Boston. She has also worked at Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW), William Rawn Associates, and Visnick & Caulfield Associates.

In addition to practicing architecture, Ingrid is actively involved in shaping the built environment from multiple angles: she serves on the architectural review committee and the planning board for the community of Point O’Woods, Fire Island NY, a role that has provided her the opportunity to sit on the other side of the table as a client for a major renovation of a historic assembly building. She has also taught architectural design at Boston College and Harvard GSD, and she is a frequent guest studio critic & lecturer.
